Gathright Golf is led by Bryan Gathright, one of Golf Digest’s 2026–2027 Best Teachers in Every State and a Golf Magazine Lifetime Top 100 Teacher. Bryan was a three-time recipient of the STPGA Harvey Penick Teacher of the Year.

From beginners learning the fundamentals to touring professionals refining their performance, Gathright Golf provides personalized instruction tailored to each player’s goals. Lessons are available near San Antonio at River Crossing Club in Spring Branch and in the Houston area at Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land. Bryan also travels throughout the United States and internationally to work with clients.

Instruction may extend beyond the putting green and driving range to on-course sessions designed to address the real-world situations that affect scoring and confidence. Gathright Golf also offers customized instruction for corporate meetings, retreats, team-building activities, and special events.

A partner at Gathright Golf, Hunter works alongside Bryan at River Crossing Club. With extensive experience in both golf instruction and fitness, Hunter brings a unique understanding of golf coaching and GOATA Fitness—and how movement, mobility, and physical performance can be incorporated into the Gathright Golf teaching program.
